At the bottom of each, it suggests where you can view that film.

Howdy Cinema Fans,

I don't know about the guys on the selection committee. I didn't see "Blazing Saddles", "Rancho Deluxe", Missouri Breaks". Given time I can probably come up with more. Then there are some listed that I question. Maybe some folks here can name some others that they missed, or should have.

Those lists are always so subjective, even if they go by ratings.  I have a problem with some of them being too modern of a story for what I'd consider a western.  Examples: Hud, No Country for Old Men, Brokeback Mountain (which I still refuse to see), Bad Day at Black Rock.

John Wayne and Clint Eastwood certainly are well-represented!  I'd have to look it over again and think about it to see if any of my favorites are missing.  Noticed that Barbarosa is at #100.  I'd always assumed I'd seen it but when it came on the other day I watched it and it was actually the first time.  I thought the acting was quite good!

Okay, I see right off that True Grit is missing.

Agree with these comments, plus I am not sure "McCabe and Mrs. Miller" ought to be on this list either. I see a bunch of omissions of movies that should be on the list that are better than many of the ones listed.

How do you put brokeback mountain above the Professionals? Not a true best westerns list by any means.
