I know this won't be a surprise for those that know me, but I've added another unbreakable gun to the ones I've had break down on me.  This time it's a 3 screw Ruger.  Trigger sear somehow broke off.  Already ordered a replacement.

So how high did you drop it from.🤔

My guess is that you were shooting at long range. We all know that you have to pull the trigger harder to get the bullets all the way out to those long distances. You probably just exceeded the range limit of your sixgun.

Hahaha Rev.  I gotta remember that one.

That's the bizarre thing.  Absolutely nothing happened that should have caused this.  I suspect metal fatigue of some kind, but at least you can still find parts.

Well .. Ya.  You tie your Ruger to a tyre and yank the trigger with a cable from behind a tree and your gonna break one or two  :o

I'm glad to have you as a friend. Knowing how many guns you've broken makes me feel less bad somehow when I break one. Plus, your ability to break "unbreakable" guns is something to admire!

It happens to all of us sooner or later but I've ALWAYS heard the Ruger Single Actions were built like tanks. I assumed Shermans or Panzers not fishtanks. I broke my NoI MkIII last month and wasn't even shooting it, just cycling the bolt.

I broke my dad's New Model Single Six a number of years ago.  I'm not sure exactly what broke; he sent it back to Ruger and they fixed it.  Today, I probably would have taken it apart and fixed it myself.

It sounds kinda like your Super Power, it's been reported.

Ned needs to start his own Society within the CAS City forum based on how many firearms a member has broken.  I have ONE and that's one too many.
