I am looking for the general information about the 90489 Lee bullet mold.

What caliber is it?

What weight bullet does it create?

What was the Lee designation on the box (ex. 45-200-1R)?

I did find on a web forum -- where someone stated that it was for the 45ACP -- a .452 that weighed 228 grains.

Does someone have one of these (what appears to be) vintage Lee molds that could / would provide more detailed info?

Thanks

Lee 90489 should be a .452" diameter hollow point bullet for the 45 Colt or 45 acp, with a nominal weight of 228 grains.  It has been out of production for a while.  If I remember that line of hollow point moulds correctly, it would have been a hollow point version of today's 452-252-SWC.
In my book a pioneer is a man who turned all the grass upside down, strung bob-wire over the dust that was left, poisoned the water, cut down the trees, killed the Indian who owned the land and called it progress.  Charles M. Russell

LongWalker,

Thanks for that information.  With the older web forum info and yours, I will go with that.

Thanks

Sedalia Dave,

Thanks for the link.  That did not come up in my Search engine listings.  That really helps define it for me.
