The Eastern Regional "Lawmen and Outlaws" is fast approaching!!  September 22-24

The schedule is Friday will be the Side matches; Saturday will be six main stages; and Sunday will be four main stages as voted upon by our posse at our November meeting.  We need to get a good count of those that are going to be attending for food preparation so please register as soon as you can.  There will be registration forms at our posse's shoot this coming weekend and earlier in this thread.

If anyone is available Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, we would love your help or come enjoy the fun.  Many hands make light work.

In an effort to accommodate those who wish not to shoot on Sunday we invite those who would like to join us on our shoot through Thursday September 21st after noon to shoot those four stages that will be shot on Sunday.  Your scores will be recorded and you can finish on Saturday.  I would like to get a count so we can prepare for that, so please let me know if you are planning to do the four stage early shoot through.

Thank you for your help, support, and patience,

I'm interested in going to the Eastern Regional this month. But I need a place to stay. Do you have any recommendations for a close and cheap motel?
And is the banquet at the same place the convention was, in Nashville.

Martinsville Indiana has several nice accommodations that might meet your needs.  There is not a banquet this year.  We were trying to reduce costs.

Thanks Bushwhacker. I can leave the guncart at home. Imagine going through Chicago with  pine coffin in the back of your SUV!

Well shoot, I was really wanting to see that cart!!  You don't have to bring it on my account!  Looking forward to having you come visit our range!

I am looking forward to this shoot. I have loaded several boxes of black powder shotgun shells and hundreds of black powder .38 special loads for the main match.

It was my first time to your range, what a great job you guys have done building all the stage fronts and other
buildings. It was a great shoot I especially liked the rifle targets being way up the hills. Thanks to all who put this
on, we definitely had a good time.

It was my first time to your range, also. What a range it is! I took some pictures to show shooters back home. I just wish I knew how to post pictures! The whole range is in a holler. If you listen real close, you could hear Deliverance being played on the banjo! Your cowboy town had buildings on each side of the street. The whole range was in the woods. You actually had to shoot around the trees some times. Shade all day long. The rifle targets were very challenging and placed on the hill side. Three moving targets. What a range and shoot. Your club did a fantastic job!!

Thank you for a challenging and enjoyable week end,

Those moving targets sound interesting. I would like  a little more info?

Snake Oil

We have a running man that moves away from the shooter, a sliding target that usually has a Buffalo on itthat travels from the left to the right, and we have a wigwam target that moves back and forth.  We also have a couple plate racks that have small circles and bottles on them.  There is a lot of fun on our range!!

I know this is late, but they wouldn't have messed with you with the obvious Outfit connection.   ;D
