Howdy. Anyone remember when Dixie Gun Works carried the Uberti made clone of the 1873 Winchester Musket? I was recently lucky (?) nuff to add one to the collection. I have looked it all over but cannot find a date code. Also want to find a bayonet for it. But do not think that is too apt to happen. Thanks Zeb

   I landed an Uberti - HEGE Win. 1873 Infantry Rifle in .44WCF; my Date Code, found on the receiver bottom, south of the carrier, is
[ BM ], which is 1999, I believe. My current 'smart-phone' cannot send appropriate size photos, or I'd post one...
   A few years ago, Taylors & Co had Uberti Win. 1866 Infantry Rifles on their Special Order List, which I had announced on the "1860 Henry"
page, on May 30th 2017. "Baltimore Ed" commented that he had adapted a Springfield 'Trapdoor' bayonet to an Uberti Win. 1873 Infantry Rifle  and how he had done it. I suggest that You investigate! I keep threatening to take a TD Bayonet and rework it for mine...
