Does the FC 001 serial number have any meaning? Other than its a serial number. Rodeo with 4 3/4" barrel marked 44 W.C.F. normal matte blue finish with black plastic grips. Push button take down. Matching cylinder number. Looks like all USA parts. In the box with matching end label. Any info on this gun with a 001 serial?

I have no idea of the significance of the "001" serial number but I'd love to have it if it isn't priced like most USFA single actions these days.  I don't have a 44 WCF, just 45 Colts.

My guess is that it was a special run for one of the distrubuters and is the first one roduced for that specific run. That is just a guess however.

Thanks for the heads-up Lou.

$2000 for a Rodeo and the hammer isn't even case colored.  Dang!
