Will a 1858 brass trigger guard fit a 1875 gun?   ???

Not the same thing at all. The distance from the grip to the trigger guard is different and the grip shape is not at all the same. A number of years ago I liked the feel of the NMA so I bought an 1875 thinking they would be the same. They weren't even remotely similar. I got rid of the 1875.

Glad to help. Don't let that stop you from getting the whole gun...  ;D

I've already got the gun, just wanted to spruce it up a bit with a brass trigger guard. Maybe I'll check into having it gold plated.

Maybe you already know this and that's why you were asking about the '58 part, but according to VTI, Uberti made a brass triggerguard for the '75 and '90 but it is no longer available.  so there may be one out there somewhere.  Maybe somebody who has a brass triggerguard on their gun would rather have steel and would trade.

There's that possibility. Also, perhaps it could be brass plated.

Abilene had a good idea. Maybe you could find one somewhere. There is a guy who sells parts on ebay. Perhaps he would have one.
