Reading your title, I was trying to figure out why you wanted "Reproduction Food" rather than "Real Food."  Initially seems kinda strange > > > > >

River City John is the king of vintage labels.

I believe River City John's labels are still on the NCOWS website. When I worked
at a printing co. I had access to cardboard and a good cutter, so I made 3 piece
boxes and used those labels. Pretty cool going up to the loading table and tearing the
string to open your box of ammo.

That's my goal as well, to have a batch of period correct boxes for my cartridges. Just something satisfying about that.

BCD, I have some cut but not glued and labels PM me if interested. FYI, if you are starting
out with cereal box cardboard, you have to be very exact to get the 3 to fit right

I have some cartridge labels that can be printed.   I will track them down in the next day or so, pending schedule.   I have thought of food labels, and looked for some decent ones I could "borrow" from on line, but have not found any as of yet.      I will dig for that as well.

River City John

I do have a modest batch of period labels reproduced that were on the NCOWS website, but I cannot find them there now.

Paul, (or any fine, upstanding volunteer) I would be more than willing to scan the originals to be sent to a computer guru and put in a digital file format.
Let me know.

I would also suggest for reenacting purposes Victor Trading Company.

Bushy Creek,
if looking for cartridge labels, you said .45 is all you're looking for?

Yes sir,

Bear Tooth Billy has been kind enough to make up a kit for me to put together. Was able to find the link to the labels on the NCOWS website as well. I sure appreciate everyone's help! Would definitely like to see this thread continue with examples of other folks work. There's something fascinating to me about reproducing everyday items like this.

I went looking on the NCOWS website, but I didn't find them. Are they still there?

Alright, this is what I like to see!!!! people helping others share information
and knowledge. I spent $100 a while back trying to get more interest here
and it seemed to work for a while and then went quiet again. Please use this
forum to learn and help others!!!!!!!

The chocolate may be earlier than our timeframe, but here are a few.

How about other essentials... Like tangle foot🤷‍♂️😆 I have a draft version underway for a correct Overholts label. But, maybe someone has this
one covered.  PowerPoint is a pretty good tool for scratch building labels... images/clip, etc art can be imported, rotated, overlayed, etc.

I'm sure I have a variety of old labels, just not the one I really wanted for my period Full Measure Quart bottle.
