Gentlemen,  Would anyone be interested in shooting a ten round monthly match on the B-27 target we use for Precision Pistol at the Brigade Muster?  You could just take a picture of your target and e-mail it to me for scoring.  You would, of course, have to buy your own B-27 targets.  It's another reason to shoot those old revolvers, and most of us have access to a twenty-five yard range.  Let me know your thoughts.

Hi

I have a pile of B-34's, which are a smaller version of the B-27, if I can find some around here I'm in.  I'll get some centers for this anyway.

I know you can get them from Amazon or Optics Planet.  If you do an internet search you can usually get them pretty reasonably.

As soon as I can find a 44 special or even a 38, I'm in (still haven't managed to trade off that little-weenie-girly-32-20).  I don't think my Blackhawks and modern Smiths really fit in.

(Anyone want a 32-20?  I'll throw in ammo and dies, maybe even a mould if I can find it.)

What kind of .32-20 is it?  If it has fixed sights, go ahead and shoot it until you get something else.

We can do both!  Just let me know which target is which.

Cimarron SAA, 7 1/2" barrel.  I just don't like shooting it.

Oops!  Did I say that out loud?  ;D  That ("little-weeny-girly-load") is a Missourism for a pistol round with little power or recoil (e.g. 25 auto); a gun shooting such a load is a little-weeny-girly-gun.  Maybe "gamer's gun" would be more politically correct?  It weighs ~3#, and with top-end loads has less power/recoil than a 160 gr 45 slug at 700 fps.

Some people liked the SAA in a .32-20!  (Why, I have no idea.)  You can still shoot it until you get something else, though!

Great ! I happen to know where a couple newly aquired mil- spec. 1911's are. That need some rounds through them.

Hi
Got some ordered from Midway.  Naturally I don't have the full sheet, but I should be able to find one around here somewhere.  Heck our target stands aren't big enough for the whole B-27 anyway.

Back in the 1970's an old time county Sheriff told me the 32-20 was popular in his youth because it was the only pistol round that had any chance of penetrating the car bodies of that time.

Pretty much the same reason some people liked 1911's in .38 Super.  I was told by a friend (who has since passed) that some old time law enforcement liked the .32-20 because it shot flatter at long range than the larger calibers.
