Got my Shootist away from the postman yesterday. Been a busy summer as I completed tasks related to my move & sale of my former home - wrapped up two weeks ago. I've added the 17th @ Colfax to my calendar. In addition to that sad news, I'm hearing their may NOT be a "Fall Roundup" at Milan after this year (I helped startup the 3-day shoot back in the 90s). Worst part perhaps - losing the side match day, where we can shoot rifles at 100 & 250 yd.

Got my Shootist Monday Aug 22, and I read it. Got me here again.
The mail also brought me a copy of Guns of the American West by Dennis Adler $12.61 including tax and shipping from a Good Will via Amazon.

According to the latest issue of The Shootist, the 2023 NCOWS Convention will be held March 24-26, in Nashville, IN, same place as before. You can contact The Seasons Lodge, (812) 988-2284 or (800) 365-7327 to make reservations. They have a special rate filed under National Congress of Old West Shootists. Hope to see everyone there.
