Sometimes I stitch just because on either rivets or Chicago screws you can get the green tarnish- I don't know how to prevent it.

Sometimes I stitch just because on either rivets or Chicago screws you can get the green tarnish- I don't know how to prevent it.

I have some pretty old holsters with some copper rivets. The green tarnish dont bother me but it is easy to clean if need be. I dont think you can stop it really. Maybe if you spray one of the top coats on it it may prevent it but not sure.
