Outstanding! Top quality workmanship with a great color. My kind of Holster.

Many thanks for sharing your work with us
You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself

Where did you get the belt buckle?  Do you wear spur chains under the boot?

The buckle is a Will Ghormley buckle. Not sure if he still makes them or not. I purchased a few of them prob 10 years ago and they are my favorite buckles.

I haven't ever wore chains under the spurs. That said, I haven't wore spurs much and never in an actual horse working environment.

Very nice Rube,
I have the same buckle I think WG calls it white bronze standing wheat.
I don't recall for sure, but I bought mine 12 or so years ago.
I think he still has them

Beautiful work.  I love the 1851's.  Have several 1 original(1856), but only one conversion.
What thickness leather did you use?  Lined or unlined?

Thank you.
I bet those originals are wonderful also.

Its 9oz leather. Unlined for these holsters.
