Am I a gamer....?

Howdy......
I had a problem with toilets (sp???) The chain that hooks to the 'lever' and to the 'ball cock' broke the connection at the ball cock (under water) So I went out and bought a new ball cock and chain assemble to replace it. I replaced the ball cock at the bottim of the tank and hooked the chain to the 'lever' and handle assembly. After the first 'trial flush' I realized that the 'lever' had too much travel

So.....I shortened the chain (link) to achieve a 'shorter stork'
Now you / I don't gotta push the 'lever' so far to 'get the job done'

Now I have a 'short stroked toilet' Am I a gamer............

I don't know if your a gamer, but if you tried that handle more then 3 times, your a FOUR FLUSHER !

Ya ain't ever gonna get that past SASS, but on second thought, ya might because it doesn't change angle of the lever and it really is an internal modification.

You would be a Gamer if you were in CASS......Crapper Action Sewerage Standardization

Since CAS and CASS are two different things the only thing gamey goin' on is what goes on in the Crapper.....Hehehehe

I just hope you havent installed a "lightning rod" lever to the ballcock. Whilst a short throw lever has been used for some time now, these new adaptations havent been voted on yet.

Then again have you ballanced your short throw against the "long drop"

There may be some debate as to whether or not this enters into the "spirit" of the event as it is not a traditional ratio.

You must always take into account the fact that your convienince may not conform to the original makers intended design and also one must not detract from the social aspect.

You must allow others to inspect your short throw and thereby initiating lively debate as to the pros and cons of said alteration. Occasionally allowing others the use of your adaptation could also lead to relieving the tension of the situation.

Just my "pennies" worth, well spent.

I have been re reading the various replies to this post and have a few more questions if you dont mind.

What other modifications have you initiated? Have yo installed a new lighter ballcock to the apperatus?

I have read the replies about blowback but you make no mention of provisions made for cleaning of the chamber. Is it just spray and pray or do you use a wonder cleaner with the latest gadgets?

Do you clean between rounds or wait to the end of the day?

What sort of propellant are you using? Are you using full loads or mousepharts?

Have you slugged the bore to make sure that the projectiles are of sufficient size?

Inquiring minds need to know answers to these before passing judgement as to whether or not one is a gamer.
