Are these legal for match use in NCOWS?

Short answer is no.  They do not resemble any pre-1899 firearm that I know of.

 Joe is right. The Freedom Arms (and similar) are not appropriate for use in NCOWS.

If a Freedom Arms 97 was the only gun someone had, they could sell it and buy two pistols, a rifle, and a shotgun with the proceeds.  :D

I own something worse, even banned in another group. I have a Coyote Cap, 93/97. A cool gun but not usable in any competition.
