Attached is a photo of an early S&W #3, sn 197 1st month or 2. Barrel chopped, & crowned.
What is wrong with this picture? Even fully open extractor doesn't retract. Is this original, or something that needs repaired?

nice grips if they are real, I think it needs a repair, but I dont really know.
