Gentlemen, Does anyone here have the Uberti Richards Mason revolvers?  If so, how are they?  Do they hold up well?  Do they need all the tweaking the other Uberti open tops need?  Are they actually a little bigger than the regular '60 Army's?

I have the R-M conversion of the '51 Navy in .38, but not the Army.

My friendly neighborhood gunsmith did drill and tap the arbor end to screw in a screw to be filed and take up the gap in the arbor hole, then chamfer the forcing cone to 11º, I believe. Stoned and smoothed all necessary surfaces, but left the mainspring as is.

It functions beautifully and dimensions are exactly the same as Uberti's '51 c 'n' b.

I have a 51 Navy and a 60 Army conversions. Both did need the washer at the arbor, but are very good running guns. The Navy is exceptionally accurate.

Yes, the Uberti 1860 conversions are slightly larger than originals, in order to be able to chamber 45 Colt plus 44 Russian and Special (whose rims are larger than the 44 Colt of the originals).   My 4 R-M's are all '51, plus a '60 and '61 Type II.  All wonderful guns.
