Current value of a Colt 1909?

I have a decent but used Colt US Army 1909 that I might be moving down the road.  It is in good shape for a 110 year old gun. Marking are strong, finish is greyed and worn in spots.

Look on GB but look on the top of the page and use the Advanced search, Completed items to see what they actually sold for not what the seller wanted to sell for. Compare rarity, condition, finishes and wear to get a ballpark. Good luck. Nice Colt btw.

That's a nice Colt, but I think it would be too rich for my blood.  .45 Colt I presume?

The 1909's were all in .45 Colt.  Retired or not you should treat yourself to a Colt, you'll never go back to the S&W.

Thanks for the info guys.  I am trading it to a young fellow, a gun trading buddy.  I put a value on it less than the lowest gunbroker sold price that I could find.   

Cool gun but I have others that I shoot more.
