I just picked up a really nice 1927 dated SMLE No.1 MK III with intact magazine cut off.  Really clean with good bore. Has some Arabic stamps on it.

Been wrestling with a 1942 'B' smle dispersion rifle trying to replace a wrecked forestock with a replacement semi inlet forestock. It's been a real trial for sure. Getting closer though. Doesn't smell any worse than any of my other British weapons.

Nice Major deux! Hope mine looks half as good and shoots half a minute of sass marshal.
