Howdy folks, long time no see  ;D

After years and years of wanting, the stars aligned and I was able to find a Krag rifle at the same time I had funds available to get it. I believe it's been refinished, barrel looks good. Serial number is 93597. Pictured here with my beat up Trapdoor and some of my Ubertis. Working on getting brass, bullets and powder now to start reloading, but I was just too excited not to share.

Hope you good folks are doing well and staying safe

That i a good looking Krag.  I managed to find mine when I went in to a Gun shop looking for some ammo.  I came out with the ammo and the Krag.

Nice rifle. A few years ago you couldn't find .30-40 brass anywhere but it's available now. Good shooting. They like heavy boolits.

.....welcome to the club. A buddy came across one at Friendship this spring. I went down the next day and it followed me home. I have almost everything to shoot it now except gaschecks and brass, lol.
