Recently got my 1860 Army back from Mike, after having him Goonerize it. This gun has become the real star of my collection. So I decided it needed a new holster.

I used 9oz veg tanned for the outside, and butter soft calfskin for the lining. The black dye is my homemade vinegaroon. All the stitching is by hand. The tooling is just a simple border with a meander in it, from a tool I made myself. I included a stitched in toe plug on this one. It's a simple design with a little flair. It goes nicely with the rest of my rig.

Looks great, Dave! The meander makes a good border for it. Nice work.

I really like your holster, good color, style and design,  Could you show us a close up of the meander tool you made?

Nice work and kudos for including the toe plug, things like that are the extra touches that make one stand out

I will get a picture of the tool and post it, soon as I get back home later today.
