As the header says, I am in search of a set of wood grips to fit a Uberti S&W Russian Model revolver.  VTI has been backordered on them for months.

If you know where I can acquire a set ... or if you have a set you no longer want because you have replaced them with soemthing else ... please let me know.

I have the set of smooth "ivory-like" grips my revolver was fitted with which i could trade ...

Unfortunately, no ... different grip-frame shapes ...

Chuck:

That sounds like a plan!

I am still planning to come ... provided they'll open the border for "non-essential" travel ...

I was working up an argument that attendance at a GAF Muster is "essential" ... but unfortunately the particulars set out on the US Customs and Border Protection website for what constitutes "non-essential" travel preclude that ...

Now we won't know whether attendance will be possible until the next review date of June 21 ...  ::)

I am continuing with preparations, nonetheless ...

If they won't let you out of the country let me know and we'll do a mail swap.

Would it help if I wrote the border guards a letter explaining that attendance is mandatory for all of my staff members, especially my Department of the International Commander and therefore the border crossing is essential?  ;D  Perhaps, if I ordered them to allow it....? ;D ;D

That might get the guards on the North side of the Medicine line to let him out, but unfortunately, it might convince the guards on the South side not to let him in

Seems to not be a problem on the southern border except for all the ordinance and accoutrements you would be traveling with. You better just wait it out, things seem to be loosening up. Wish I could come out west and play with you guys. Maybe next year.

Yes ... it is apparent that the restrictions on land crossings of the northern border (... well, except for Alaska it is actually mostly "southern" for us Canucks, but it's the only border we've got ... ) is a U.S./Canadian collaboration, with the U.S. acceding to the restrictions wanted by the incompetent but paranoid Canadian government ...

Well, if you could get to Mexico, you shouldn't have any problems getting into the 'States.

Yea, Jack wearing a red jacket, busby, maybe a kilt, and beating hell out of a drum, but Border Patrol won't see him.
