OK who's a peekin?

Its Dec 15th, Just days before the actual event, And how many of us peek at our presents and how many hold our till its proper to look. I myself have been known to sneek a little shake once in a while [ just to sift the sweaters from the good stuff].Ill tell you what I know about the package from my Santa, its smaller than a F350 duelly,somewhat lighter than moms fruitcake, and when shaken it doesn't rattle like broken glass! HMMMMM!!!     So who among us peeks and who holds out?

Well DR, so far so good.   I haven't peeked at mine yet either.  It's sittin there staring at me.  I didn't even take the shipping paper of the box cause I don't know if that would give away the contents.  Jus a little over a week and then Yeee Haawww.  Hope ya like yurs when ya finally git to open it.  I'll give ya some hints about yurs,  it won't make a mess in your house, ya don't have ta feed or water it.....anymore  , no assembly required, it don't take batteries and I wouldn't try to eat it.

I LOVE surprises!
Even as a kid, my mama would always tell me where she had the presents hidden..and I and my sister totally stayed away from that place. My kids were and are the same way.
There is just something about the excitement about a package..that if shook a bit ...might make a noise or the weight of it  shifts... Hmmmm~~
I LOVE the intrigue.
I even wrap my gifts in several boxes..each one wrapped until they get to the middle one..and I also have been known to put rocks or gravel in the box with the gift... just so it DOES rattle...
( Takes care of those that like sorting the sweaters from the "good stuff"..)
I like to give better than receive too. Especially when I know it is something that that other person really wanted.

Tain't no presents under the tree, yet. Just got the tree on Saturday. I don't peek or shake.

Our family opened the "wrapped presents" from the family on Christmas Eve (the "unwrapped ones from Santa were found Christmas morning under the tree). 
Our family was devious in the packaging, so shaking would not give you a clue as to what was in the package.  My Dad once bought my Mom a watch, but we put it in a large box with his bowling ball as ballast.   
One year my brother was getting a set of walkie-talkies.  We wrapped one, left it turned on and put it under the tree.  He was dispensing presents that year.  Once he got close to his present I went into our bedroom, got the other unit, and proceeded to yell "LET ME OUT OF THE BOX" several times.  The only downside was I didn't get to see the look on his face!!!

I never shake or peek. I just buy my own presents so I'm never disappointed.

Not Peekin   I'm Watchin!!   Been home all week with the ague and been able to see some of the best early Christmass presents that Kurt 'N Kleimer has given.  At only 8 months he's now charging all over the house and like his alias climbing everything in sight .  The BEST present is being able to watch him go through these changes.  Even when he goes by the sorbiquet of Stinky Leslie .  OOPS< gotta go, sounds like he is into the TP storage again
