I was just about to start an November thread. Hopefully in 3 days all the political BS will be over and we can get back to our regularly scheduled program.

I hope so, for the most part I'm disgusted with both sides, I won't get deep into it but everyone wants the swamp drained but most keep voting for the same bog monsters, if after almost 50 years in office they ain't done anything productive why would you think they'd start now?   I'm to the point they should get a very limited time to do what they claim and then they should go quietly away, shut up and no pension or other crap.

I decided when i turned 18 I was going to be an independant and still am, still convinced belonging to a party makes you part of the problem, not the solution.  Yeah, can't vote in the primaries but figure both parties can show me their best and I can decide from there.   ;)

That's my philosophy Delmonico.
Except for some reason this election the GOP decided I was a closet Republican and I've been receiving from 4 - 8 e-mails PER DAY from Donald, Eric, Lara, Donald Jr., Melania, Sarah, Ted, and Tom, Dick and Harry complimenting me on how fine a patriot I am and begging for money. Every. Single. One. By now I've figured out Trump is desperate for money.

Morning all. Happy time change.

30 and sunny in Missoula today, supposed to get around 50.

I solve the political issue by registering as a republican and then voting for who I want. This election I voted third party on everything except president, which was a "hold your nose" affair.

In WI, you do not have to register with a political party even for the primary. I am not registered with a party.

I am resizing range 9mm Luger/Parabellum brass. I am finding some that have a slight "shoulder". Can you shoot 9mm Luger/Parabellum in a gun with a different chamber?

I get E Mails from both sides but I don't open them, why would I?  I just don't get the phone calls and the mail.  Wife gets some, I love the regular mail ones where they are going to save on waste and protect the environment.   Makes as much sense as me D friend from High School that drives his "lectric car to Estes Park all the time to his vacation home.  Gonna vote for the one that pisses both flavors of the swamp rats off, for good or bad it sends the message they should have been getting a long time ago.   We are tired of people sucking on the public teat 25 plus years more or less.

Yes, the base is solid and shouldn't expand when fired, as long as you size them as far down the base as possible you should be fine. Just check them after sizing in the chamber of the gun you want to shoot them in.

Were they shot in a Tec 9?   A friend years ago had some that had been, actuall looked like a belt on them like a mag rifle round.  They went in the scrap.

Some of that weird straight blowback/open bolt stuff does weird things.   Make one of those paper clip hooks and check inside to make sure you have not got some with a start of a head separation.

Wife and I mailed in our official ballots the 2nd of October, and they have been validated already.

The Newest Citizen and I just got back from voting. As of about 1PM, there were 201 votes cast in our precinct, out of 488 registered. We're one of the more rural areas of our county. By the time the after work voters show up, we'll be way over the national average voter participation, I think. No waiting in line, plenty of time to chat with others at the polling place. After lunch, back to the re-modeling of our new abode. Almost done, just need to trim out the new floor, and fix a hole in the sheet rock above the sink, and we can be moving in! But still a lot of work outside, laying block (It's a double wide, and I dislike plastic underpinning-it'll be concrete) and some siding work on one end. Then push some more dirt around and build porches, so we don't have to wade through the red clay and climb the stacked up concrete blocks to get in.

Oh, and just to get some arguments going, lunch is chili- with beans. My Mom made it that way, and her mom....
