I know a  few folks here have been re-militarizing '03s; I'm trying to find some parts they may have replaced.  I've got a barreled MkI action that someone started to "sporterize" that I'm thinking of building up like a civilian target rifles from between the wars or post-war era.    I'm looking for a Lyman 48 or Redfield 70 (and maybe even the jig to D&T?), and a cut-down type C stock.  Anyone have such things in their parts boxes?

In my book a pioneer is a man who turned all the grass upside down, strung bob-wire over the dust that was left, poisoned the water, cut down the trees, killed the Indian who owned the land and called it progress.  Charles M. Russell

I don't have one, but the receiver sights for the Springfield seem to be about the most common ones on e-Bay, and usually fairly reasonable.
