Morning y'all.
Thanks for the coffee.

I primed 700 9mm cases the other day. BTW, primers are in short supply, also.

Verking from home today with an ear ache.  ::)

BTW, the following is from the CDC website:
"Comorbidities
Table 3 shows the types of health conditions and contributing causes mentioned in conjunction with deaths involving coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). For 6% of the deaths, COVID-19 was the only cause mentioned. For deaths with conditions or causes in addition to COVID-19, on average, there were 2.6 additional conditions or causes per death. The number of deaths with each condition or cause is shown for all deaths and by age groups. "

No kidding... I was in Bass Pro a few weeks ago to get a generator .... looked in the ammo aisle , aside for a handful of Shot Shells in 20 gauge maybe 5 boxes of 410 ...Nada

No 223 Cal/or NATO ,  9mm , 45 ACP or 38/357 period ...   the shelves were barren, I did see a lonely 50 round box of 44 mag.

Zip= NADA  in .380 , 32 ACP ....

on the other hand, glass showcases were well stocked with many handgun... Glocks, Sig's, Ruger's  and about 10-12 Uberti miscellaneous SAA's.... Racks held hunting & black rifles  & some Shotguns

apparently, guns are plentiful, but you'll still have to throw rocks for a ballistic deterrent  ::)

Local sportsman's and cabelas are pretty barren if any non-magnum handgun ammo. I picked up the last box of 38spl fmj last week.  Most hunting cartridges in both rifle and handgun are around. Handguns themselves are a little thin in the micro-9/380 area. Everything else is in stock.

About to head out for Kentucky. Hope to make at least Sioux City tonight.

Slim, my wife pointed out the same article as proof that these deaths were being misreported.

Regardless, it still begs the question, would they have died if they hadn't contracted Covid-19?

I've got a lot of questions, but doubt I'll get any answers.  I wear a mask because I'm high risk but I  don't think everyone needs it and despite people saying wearing a mask doesn't cause breathing troubles it causes them for me.  But what would I know, I'm just the guy fighting a respiratory problem  I ain't educated beyond my intelligence.  And I will keep wearing in stores and such because even though it won't stop everything the more it stops the less my body has to fight.

Didn't have any colds or flu this year either, might keep wearing one in those seasons  just  to make sure I don't catch no Lizard Flu or what ever else comes along.

I had something back in January ( before the hoopla, Hype and hysteria )
Low fever, woozy, odd taste , sinus drip...yada yada ..chalked it up to my sinusitis in the Spring.
but it was over is 2-3 days ( that does not happen with Acute Sinusitis )
the cough lingered 3 weeks, and tapered off   ???
One of my Carpenters had the same symptoms a few days latter ... I'm not say'n'  I had a mild case of Covid but it is in the back of my mind, I might have.  :-\

I wear a mask out there ,  I figure, like Del " more it stops the less my body has to fight "

I'm old , over-weight and don't tempt nature...did I mention I'm old ?

Wear a mask if you feel you need it. I will not be mandated to wear one... end of subject Grandma Ivey.  It is bad enough I am in the severe area over 60. Been on oxygen for over 2 years.

On the lighter side. Glen this is your neighborhood quite honest I was surprised I didn't see you there

I was wearing one before they started the mandates, been wearing something since I came home in January.

As for the chicken scraps debate I don't give a rat's poop, just make chicken and noodles out of the scraps, who ever invented Buffalo wings was a good marketer, convince people something almost worthless is good and you can sell it to them for much more than it is worth, not paying more for chicken scraps than T bone, they is $%&#ing dumb.

But on the other hand we know he is right and I understand his ploy is to make them talk about something else than the above.   We do things different here, we have a conservative Democrat mayor and yes I voted for her, the R that ran against is one of the lowest people you will ever meet, I think she'd stab you in the back on her way home from church, I know her, she's my grandson's other Grandma, not happy fully with the one we got, but much better than the other choice, got into city council by a landslide and then lost big time in the Mayor's race, guess others seen through her.     ;D

I'm amazed he kept a straight face . . .
now why wasn't he also pushing to rename Mountain Oysters?
