My fiancé is buying a horse from a fellow she used to work for out here. It's a blooded Lusitano, and she was part of training both sire and dam. We're picking it up this weekend.

Super neat

I don't horse around much anymore,  Daughter has just the one now.

In my day though , I've owned a fine Saddlebred , two TB's, two Quarter's ,  a Tenn. Walker and an Arab...

That would be me out front row left, officer stand on the Saddlebred
and another a bit clearer.

Where's everybody at? I guess I'll set the coffee water on the fire.

Morning all. I could use the coffee.

Got into KY around 6 last night and got the sway system installed on the trailer. The trailer was bigger than expected, but we'll still be well within the limits of the truck.

We're meeting the horse today.

Was up early heard a cat scream just before daylight. One is missing. Then helped Suzanne load  truck for farmers market.

Time for coffee now. Finish watching "Missouri Breaks" , now. Ya'll shouldn't mentioned it last week.

I must also mention weather is cooler today.

I'm guessing the horse isn't a fan of small confined spaces on wheels? Had that problem before.

Lots of work here. We bought a new(to us) double wide. Hauled in and blocked up last week. I did the tie downs yesterday, wired up the generator for temporary power, hooked up a hose for temporary water. Changed out all the ceiling lights that didn't meet with the Mrs.' approval. Working on some small drywall repair. Next is wiring for a couple of overhead lights and a ceiling fan, and trim out the parting line in a couple of places. Don't like working on overheads much any more. Can work for about a minute at a time and then I have to put my arms down.
