Slim when I was a foundation saver....... many years ago we carried badminton rackets for such problems. They are also devastating on Carpenter bees.

Just back from my bi annual pulmonory doctors visit...... the lord keeps lighting my path.
Breathing test not good X-ray showed no cancers. Just scars.

Stopped at Freddy's for a sandwich and fries drink- their cost is like 5 guys. Not as greasy though.

Then Suzanne stopped  for groceries, while she was inside a pretty big storm blew in.  Nothing like what Laura is leaving to our West. Heavy rains and wind though, spun off of Laura.
Hope PE  and our other friends in this path are safe.

Not too worried about Laura this far inland, if and when it gets here, probably just some rain, which we need anyway.

Silver Creek Slim

Morning y'all.

Up, pulmonary Dr thinks my problem is a bad sinus thing and drainage into lungs, got meds and more testing on Tuesday.

Young male yellow lab in rescue near here, not really ready yet, hoping he gets a forever home, not going to say no chance yet.   Going to check on him in a couple of days, would rather wait till early next year.   When we do it will keep new dog away from Lexie, don't hardly see Riley, they hide out in her room a lot. ;D  So glad they bonded so well.

I could not think of a finer or better forever home... Lab loving folks, a chocolate running mate and kid to love.
What better heart medication can you take ?

I'll stir the night coals.

Everyone could use another Labrador in their life.

Today has been... interesting.  Internet troubles caused classes to be weird to start. Then this afternoon I took my truck in to the shop for an alignment, got that all squared away, and went home for about an hour to have a snack before heading out to do some fishing. The future Mrs was off doing horse things, so I wasn't too worried about timing or anything. Anyway, I make it out to Bonner outside of Missoula and stopped for a candy bar and some water because I forgot my bottle on the counter at home. Get back out, and the truck won't start. Won't even turn over. I think it's the starter, but I won't know until Monday.  I don't have the tools or space to work on it myself right now, so I had to have it towed to a mechanic. I have AAA , so that's a plus I guess.
