I hate wearing a face covering. Wore a silk bandana at the clinic on Monday. My nose was sore afterwards.  :o

I've only worn one once so far-to the DMV. Was in there about 30 minutes and was about to smother.( that was the 30 minutes inside, it was over an hour outside, but no mask. Then got inside and found out their AC was broke) It, too was a silk bandana. Missouri has no mask mandate, and if a business requires one, I just go somewhere else. Used to do 90% of our shopping at Wal Mart, and I don't really miss that place at all.

Morning y'all.
Thanks for the coffee.

Still dizzy. Probably inner ear issues, but going to the chiro this morning because neck and hip are out.

'Tis 67 and partly cloudy. "Sun and clouds mixed. A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible. High 89F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph."

Morning all.

Last night was far too exciting for my taste.   I went to Walmart around 5, and on the way home had planned on stopping at Napa to see about a new hitch,  and the gas station. The  Future Mrs. TK was About 15 miles away looking into a barn.  Anyway, I stepped out of Walmart and felt a sudden urge to get home, so I started back, and what do you know, the hill behind my new house was on fire.  I got home just before they closed the road,  and was able to toss the important stuff in the truck. I couldn't get ahold of my other half, so I decided to stay put.  They hit it hard with a couple helicopters, and got it out at 10 acres. They're still mopping up, stomping the coals out and spraying the smoldering stumps, but we're safe now.

Anyway, plan for today is class, laundry, and a couple stores.

I was told recently that I'm "livelier than a one-legged man at a butt-kicking contest."    Is that an insult or a compliment?

TK glad you are both are OK, and nothing was lost.
Around here the air is so thick with smoke you could cut it with a knife.  I can't tell for sure where the Sun is, or if there are any clouds above the smoke layer.
Normally this would mean we should button up and turn on the air, but NV Energy is asking everyone to cut back on consumption because of the heat.
All the fires affecting us are just over the border in CA, but the winds are blowing the smoke right into the Truckee Meadows where is just sits between our two mountain ranges.  Luckily containment is increasing on the largest of the fires and most of the others.
Just have to hunker down and hold our breath awhile longer.

Run some white vinegar through it, likely still in the pot.

Johnny McCrae

While looking through some of my videos, I stumbled on these two. This was one of my favorite Sturgis trips. I don't remember if I've posted these previously.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWaXz57J2pg&feature=youtu.be

On this trip I visited Yellowstone NP, Glacier NP, The Buffalo Bill Museum and The Little Bighorn Battlefield.
You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself

Bingo!

Not Johnny.... visit Wall Drug in the winter months. Park anywhere in town no big crowds about 75% open.
