Eye candy...(new hosters just finished for my 58 Rems)

Sequentially numbered pair of Pietta 1858 Rems I got from Cabelas in Rogers, MN for $139 each.

Just got the holsters from a pard here on CAS City.

Wet moulded them and the slip in/out like a ...er...
[don't want the forum admin breathing down my neck, so I will leave it there]

I need to clean up the actions just a bit and do some stoning on the hammers and triggers.

I shall be enjoying these alot this summer.

Those Remmies sure look good in those black holster. I have a brown one just like them. I just might have to wet form it to me Remy. My wife told me I have a package at home. It should be my kirst converter. Can't wait to get home and put in my gun. Will have to get some ammo and go shoot it this weekend.

Dakota, those holsters look mighty fine.

Pappy, I got my two slim jims today, I am a happy man, with the new belt rig I am making they will be perfect double strongside and give my short arms a little more pull room....Just want to let you know.

Love the look of the blue revolvers in the black holsters. I removed 95 % of the blue on my 1858's and they really look like pistols that have stood the test of time. I think that they would better in a set of black holsters like your's. Keep shooting......
