A comment by Ned in another thread got me thinking:  Whats the most different thing you've seen at a muster?  Aside from the dead rooster on my head last year.

I'm thinking more of firearms, but anything really.

I though you'd hit a Turkey Vulture on the way up.  River City John's Vetterli was as interesting as yours, and did not require as elaborate a uniform.

I am still in therapy from being exposed to Quick Fire in Native American guise . . .
the loincloth, the loincloth . . .

that and the Ballad of the Soft Hands by Col. Diamond . . .

For "odd and strange things" I'd say it's a tie between Delmonico in his night shirt and Hawkeye Hefner in his robe. But as for firearms, probably the most unusual was probably Gary James' Howda pistol.

I missed out on Quick Fire's Indian outfit (fortunately).

I have seen some strange things. ::)

Hi

I found it deeply disturbing that the advertisement that came up after Jerry's picture in the barrel, was hawking engagement rings.  Just sayin'

It surprised me how many folks wanted to know what that "thing" was:  https://content.osgnetworks.tv/gunsandammo/content/photos/Italian-Vitali-Rifle-14.jpg

(The clip that is.  Most folks knew the rifle)

I took pictures of him dying his hair, sent them to him and then deleted them so he didn't shoot me. ;D
