Thank you guys.
Lol Major I guess there is no real cure for your condition.

Thanks for the coffee Slim.
I think the vented ridge is a good way to go personally. I have done both though

The tropical storm is still having some residual effects here. Had many short but heavy showers yesterday.

Still moving slow myself, the additional humidity is not helping.

Afternoon all.

Currently sunny with some patchy clouds here and there.  Supposed to get some thunderstorms later in the day.

I'm working swing shift up at the guard base for the next two weeks, which is not a normal operation for us, but this whole corona business has messed with our scheduling practices for the time being.

Same with blue and gray here today.

Watching the Far Country... big cast. Typical of the era, weapons saddlery costumes etc.

I watched it the other day.
I always like John McIntire normally he was the good guy supporting roll, but in this one & Winchester 73 he was a quite creditable villain.
Walter Brennan was always great , and Harry Morgan as the bad guy somewhat out of his element but carried it off.

I didn't care for the Frenchie girl much though.

Major I am thinking you might want to hang out at the gunshops a little more.

I have been seeing previews for a Showtime series about John Brown (Capt John Brown) looks a bit bizarre- they are saying it is mostly true.

I try to stop by every Sat. and have lunch with my pard.... the pandemic kept me at bay ( I , like most of us is in the susceptible  zone), so visits have been curtailed .
But I have stopped by and picked up some old gun repair projects or wood/stock repair work to do for them.
The LGS is also my Gunoholic habit (pusher) in that cool stuff , seems to follow me home for keeps  8)

Evening all.

I went to Missoula last night to look at a house there. Drove home this afternoon. Ended up running across a car wreck, and staying there as a medic for 40 minutes until a state trooper showed up.
