I have a S&W New Century coming in that is in .455 Webley. Anyone here have some loads that have worked well? Thanks!

I used the data from the Lyman Book.

Are you loading BP or smokes-less powder?

I use Blue Dot and really like it.  The Lee Modern Reloading 1st edition (red book) has good data for alliant powders in the .455 MK II

Thank you guys! Most of the newer manuals don't list this.

I have a .455 rechambered to 45 colt,,It shoots shotgun patterns with .451 bullets...Check your cylinder mouths by dropping a .451 bullet into them,,They fall right through my cylinder..I got a .456 220 grain bullet mold and shrunk the groups down to around 4-5 inches at 25 yards,,Nothing to brag about ,,but waaaay better than the .451 bullets.

      Greetings!

For your New Century Hand Ejector .455, I recommend "Pet Loads, Vol. 2" by Ken Waters, wherein he discusses
hand loading for the Solid-Frame .455 revolvers.
