Have any of you seen the movie 1917 yet?
No. But it looks like a good one.

Watched Hacksaw ridge last night. Yes had a love story... Pearl Harbor did as well.  I guess the producers want women to buy tickets as well.  Still it was a great story

Had roasted Brussels sprouts carrot salad and a piece of Salmon for supper. Yum

Greetings all. Glad to see the pot is still full and the fire is still burning.

I have survived US Air Force Basic Training, and am currently sitting on a bus headed to tech school. As they say, BMT was the best experience I never want to have again.  I made a few good friends, met a lot of people I wouldn't be upset to not see again, and got yelled at a lot for random reasons. But, my flight and our sister flight ended up taking 5 of the 6 BMT-wide awards for excellence, plus commander's recognition for excellence as a band flight.

I finally got to see the Alamo and river walk this weekend too. For what that is worth.

I'll be checking in on y'all in the evenings, so make sure someone keeps that fire burning.

I was told recently that I'm "livelier than a one-legged man at a butt-kicking contest."    Is that an insult or a compliment?

Congratulations TK What tech schooling and where?

Having trouble with the BP the last couple days, still waiting for call back, yesterday they had me take a extra BP pill.

Not awful but high for me even before the surgery,

Just got yelled at by both kids, Drs want me to come in for an EKG, called the youngest to let her know what was up.  She asked if I was going to drive myself, told her yes and she told me not to be driving if I might be having a heart attack.  Told her no, they thought I might have some A Fib.  OK she woke up the oldest, she's on the way and called and yelled at me also.  Damn kids, I trained them to well. ::)

Back, looks good, BP is now normal, heart rate is a little high.  They think I may have allergies, tale Zyrtec, wife has plenty, her prescription  gives her more than she needs.  Oh and rest, been resting for 6 months. ::)  Having a tonic water over the rocks, I like those things, bitter with a hint of sweet, like me. ;D

Congrats making it thru basic.

The rain is melting most of the snow that was left. I bit foggy, too.

Back in the day a Gin and Tonic was my favorite mixed drink, about the only one I drink.  They go far better on a hot day than any beer just make up an iced tea pitcher of them and sit on the porch.

A twist of lime would be good in case of scurvy.
