I finally had a chance to shoot my Spencer for the first time, my Spencer was made in 2019 and feed my hand load 45 colts with no problem. Feed and extracted rounds with no stoppages. Really fun carbine to shoot

Galloway

Thats great to hear! How was the poi with your handload?

Curtis264

Never shot paper, just wanted to make sure the rounds would function properly with my hand loads.I had only loaded about 30 rounds. Now i loaded 300 so will head out next week and shoot paper

Winchester LP primers
Starline 45 LC Brass
OAL is 1.550

I run it a little shorter than factory length of 1.600, I also use this round in my 1860 Henry and 1866 and at factory length they have problems jamming in elevator
