I have been convinced in the last 2 weeks that things would get pretty much back to normal by summer, was not really sure till then.

Riley hit my leg last night when we were trying to clean it up and bandage it, right where they took the veins out.  Felt like somebody stabbed me right in the funny bone.

That's when we called for help, waiting for her to come over and change the bandage.

Healing takes a lot longer as we get older.  Healing the mind included.
There is so much around here that I would had fixed or repaired maintained, in the past. I can not hardly do any of these simple things today.

I'm up, feeling better, started The Field Marshall, drove it to the gas station, put some air in the right rear tire.  Can drive it if I want to, backing best to use mirrors, the turn to look out the back window is still a bit of strain. Won't hurt me, just don't feel good.

Sounding real good, Del.

Oldest daughter was by and helped me rebandage his foot, healing fast, and outer layer has reattached, should be ok by tomorrow evening, ground refroze so let him out with his new sock.  Her socks are about perfect for that and there are always odd ones.

Nest news at Berry College. Incubation of eggs is not gone well. I don?t think there will be new birds this year.  I guess there is a reason.  Last night she was on the remaining
egg with 40 days of incubation

I'm thinking about making a rocket, anyone want a Darwin Award?

He didn't prove the earth was flat either.

well....He was called Mad Mike....  he'd be really pissed now
didn't prove the earth was flat but did prove it hard as a bitch ...not being flippant or disrespectful

His whole flat Earth concept was comedy and he took what he wanted to do to the extreme, sadly gravity is not forgiving it is however the LAW.

A flat Earther stunt junkie ,  launched himself in a steam powered rocket in an attempt to reach low earth edge of space altitude to prove the earth was flat.

It was ill advised , the craft snagged the truck mounted gantry and ripped the parachute out....he the rode the steam rocket to a low paragee and crashed ...
with no chute he was the bug , Earth was the windshield.   :(

Should have aimed for the Carmen Food Line.

Flattened on impact, so I guess his theory was partially proved. RIP
