Basic where at Lackland?

Yep.

Morning all.

Heading to the city today for some errands, then lunch with a friend.

Good to see you doing better, Del. Are you going to get a zipper tattoo on your chest?  A fellow I know who had a bypass surgery got corset strings tattooed on his scars.

Christmas morning, lunch today, hey first one was free and  I get it in the fall late winter so it don't look fresh cut at events.

House passed safety inspection for a couple old cripples, couple other ideas the kids are going to add.

Looks like Tuesday is still a go.

I walked to the dining room without the walker, probably won't need  one at home, but insurance will buy one and I will accept it when offered.

Just a bit. It's revamped starting this year to be even more like the army.  We get to use real M16s now, and have to run every day.

When I was in there in 1978 we had M-16's on the range, I was in Sqdn. 3707 Flight 143.

We ran everyday unless it was a 100 or above (in combat boots) used M16 at range- then later at azr (combat) along with others. Summer71 and agin in late 71.

Canteens not camel paks or bottle water
Boots not running or cross trainers or the modern boots - that are a better boot.
exercised on a asphalt pad.
Oh yeah I miss that.... of course I miss diarrhea too.

TK good luck there and thank you for serving

Rain continues...much needed
Local flooding.

Had to dispatch a sickly looking TrashPanda last night. We had seen it early in the morning near the road. He made its way to the old barn by dark. Our dog pointed him out near the feed room. He was sad looking health wise. I did what was needed. We feel safer now.
In doing this I found my Ruger MkIII had some feeding issues. Not sure if it was the magazine or if I was limp wristing . Rain slows I will try it and figure it out.

Same here, ours was under the barracks wings so no matter the weather, we did PT every morning.
