Coffee and tea are ready.

'Tis 19 and partly cloudy. High of 40. Which is the normal high for this time of year.

I love the smell of Black Powder in the morning!

Morning all.

I'll take a double helping of that coffee today. It's just one of those days.

Currently 45 outside, with a few fluffy clouds. Supposed to get a little warmer. I'm planning on taking advantage of this lull in the weather to go burn some 9mm and 32acp this afternoon.

It should contain those bullets just fine. I've been shooting a lot of jacketed rifle rounds lately, so I'll stick with my "sand trap". But it appears that I'll need to take it apart and "Mine" it out, the center tire is getting in pretty bad shape. If I take it apart now I can just turn it, If I wait too long it will be shot in two and I'll need to replace it.

I know it will handle the 22- 45 ACP just fine I shot the same plate in some fabricated  SASS type targets I made years ago

Pistol & pistol caliber rifles bullets cause no damage in 10 years ?. I not quite so sure about the 30/06 but since it 165 Grain lead and 80% trail boss

I'll poke the coals and warm up the coffee for the night crew.

Went out and burned some powder today. My girlfriend bought me a 30 round magazine for my Beretta, so we had to go test it.  It works well.  I have it loaded up with 30 rounds of Winchester 147 grain JHP and squirreled away in my "stuff just got interesting" bag that I keep in my truck.  I also tested a 10 round mag in my 32. The mag was fine, but the gun was a bit dry and kept short stroking. A little remoil should fix that up.

Thanks. I was beginning to wonder.

Morning all.

Weather is warm ish here, supposed to hit 55 today.  Then back to Winter by Tuesday.

My plans for today include accounting homework, cooking a Cornish Game Hen, and doing my best to not pay attention to the neighbors. They have this issue with playing their rap really loudly, and I really don't care to hear it.  Grates on the nerves a bit.

Dang Kids, Omaha is a beast and going deep into Omaha is the belly.

Food was good, I know why they never found Amelia Earhart, she didn't listen to her navigator.  Had it nailed, was there, could see it, right b between the Chevy dealer and the Von Maurs, CF Changs in lights, just go east to turn around since there is an island, cruise right past the Westroads entrance, right back on to 680 and then get where I have no idea and blame me. ::)

Putting Guy Clark for some mood music didn't help. :o ;D ::)
