When my Missus saw this on the cover of American Handgunner, she said how pretty it was. That was pretty much all the arm-twisting needed to get me to order one. It is even prettier in person than in the magazine!Comes with 3 cylinders and will handle .357/.38s, 9mm and ,38 Super.

Around Christmas season "22" I think it was, Rural King had sale on Tisas 1911's
brand new for $249.
The closest RK was 72 miles (then) and I was just giddy to go grab one.
Well, one thing or another and I procrastinated::) and did not go.
Sometimes it pains I didn't get one.
Now Rural King has a location 1/2 the distance, and the Tisas 1911 is twice as much.

looking forward to the photos

$300 at PSA at the moment:

Well, you guys got me.  I ordered a Tisas 1911A1 from PSA for $299.  My state has a two week waiting period, so I won't have it in hand for a while, but I hear only good things about them and for the price...

I too think you'll be happy with it.

I bought one of these about a year ago. Out of the box it was rough as a cob. But, after some serious polishing and spring changes it turned out to be a very nice piece. The original slide spring could have been used on a railroad car. With the tune up it works as well as any of my 1911's.

I've mentioned before I procrastinated in purchasing one @ $249.99 on sale at Rural King.
With tax it would have been $267.47 and perhaps a $5.00 background check.
Grand total $272.47 out the door last December.
This year they are $429.99  :(  + Tax & Bgc
however, the SDS Imports M1911 A1 Government .45 ACP  5" 8 RD is $349.97.  :-\

I have 4 1911's two are Springfield Armory 45ACP Gov. and a 9mm EMP, a Cimarron/ Rock Island and my original Ithica purchased from the veteran WW 2 pilot's daughter in Law.

I don't need another 1911 (as if need was any consideration)
But at the $250 price it was "SCREAMING" buy me !
alas I did not, and the kick me sign is firmly attached to my backside. ::)

One thing I did not pass on was a cool trade for this Zastava M57
, which kinda staves off the butt kicking.

What was cool about the Planet alignment...
was I had made a holster order for LGS, I had brought in two others for consignment.
When I left, I had the M57 in tow and 3 holsters sold/traded and another order.  :D

here is a bit of nostalgia,

It was 1956 Christmas morning, my folks more likely my Dad's influence, I was gifted my very first BB gun.
I recall now, it was not a Daisy Red Rider it was the Model 155 Daisy Lever Action.
That model (see photo) was sorta in between the Model 102- "155" - Red Rider.
I was in 8 years old heaven and perhaps in the envious position in the neighborhood at least the pre-pubescent youths, parents not so much I'd venture.
I later had a Red Rider with wooden forestock. I recall I had it in my early teens and for some time both were in my collection, I also had Daisy 94 Spit'n Image.

Now fast forward to 2024 and all these years, having collected
from Flintlock to C&B's, Old West through Milsurps

Probably the Daisy's started it all... The Wife gifted me a Daisy Red Rider, I'm 8 years old again
in a mid-70's body.
