Very eclectic collection there M2. Going for the 'one of everything' theme. Nice.

It will never be quite 'one of everything' ...but some drift in that direction   :-\ perhaps

To much 'everything', too little time er money

I told myself I would stop buying when the safe was full. Now I am shopping for a rack that hangs on the inside of the safe door.

Baltimore Ed

My first safe was set up that I couldn't put anything on the door but my second was made to use the door. Very handy place to mount revolvers. My slimmer autos are side by side on hangers under the shelves.

I seem to have reach a plateau,

I made some trades and kinda seem to be settled into a level of attainment or achievement.  :-\

Watch out Major deux, if you're not careful you could have a serious relapse. Happens all too often. Very sad. My last 'purchase' was also a trade. A good alternative to cold turkey but remember, you don't cut the dogs tail off one inch at a time. Stay safe friend.

Good choice for an edc Slim. I waffle between my scandium J frame and a lightweight Colt .380 Mustang. Had to use the Mustang this week to dispose of a water moccasin that was too close where I was pulling up small saplings from the property that I bought last year. I don't play around with moccasins, they can be aggressive. No desire to visit the er. The first snake I've seen on the property so next time I go out there I'll have one of my Woodsmans, .22s and a lot cheaper than Critical Defense .380s. A boy that I worked with was fishing in his john boat and was close to the bank when a moccasin dropped off a overhanging limb into the boat. He pulled his .38 and 6 rds later the snake was dead, he had 6 holes in the aluminum boat and he was hauling butt back to the dock. He cut up a couple of branches to make temporary plugs.

Well , I do have my eye on a ...

turns out it is an  early post-WW II .38 Military & Police. The "10" stamp is a coincidence as that didn't start until 10+ years later after this SN.

Update Its mine  :D

Not to sure , it belongs to a friend of my wife, it was her late husband's.( he passed 14 months ago)
The woman knows little about guns does not really like them.
She asked me to hold it for her , she did not even know how to use or unload it.
It remains here while she closes on the sale of her home and moves to a condo.

When all her business is completed I'll make a fair offer, if she does not accept, that's OK too.

There is second "um" Gun ?  a Rohm R10   ::)  22 short , not in bad condition for the POS they are made out to be...
She doesn't know how to use or unload it either ( the S&W was loaded with 6 hollow points , the R10 had a couple of 22 short in it  )

I have no interest in the Rohm ...

EDIT update offer accepted,  in re-searching the Serial number turns out it is an  early post-WW II .38 Military & Police. .  now mine  :D

Tornado

Years ago, I bought an early model 10 just because I didn't have a DA revolver.  It is one of my favorite handguns now, it is sized just right.

Major 2

I should own up to two acquisitions last month.

One was a give me , a friend offered me his Mosin Nagant, he is moving and did not want to keep it.
I said sure, I'd hold it for him , he said no just take it . So it is hanging on my Loading room wall.
I may one day get around to loading for and shooting it. Though it came with 3-4 packages of surplus ammo, recoil is mean and I don't enjoy shooting the stuff.  Bullets I have, I'd need brass and a set of dies  :-\

The other I treasure, it was the last trade with my late best friend just days before he passed . :(

MAB PA 15  Controls are Browning Hi-power like,  in fact FN Herstal owned MAB

Coffinmaker

:)  Hello . . I'm Coffinmaker and I'm a Gunoholic  ;)

Alas, my fall from Grace (Who's Grace??) has been thwarted.  I mad the call to place the order.  Specified my Specifics, only to be denied.  Seems purveyor of said object of my Par Amore is deliberately ignoring their web site.  Whilst the Object(s) of my lust were/are listed as "In Stock" . . . Not So Much.  Not even on the boat.  Not even a bloated promise of "when."

Should I be Happy or Sad??  I still harbor lustful thoughts and desire.

Grace got me too. Picked up an Uberti Open Top Army in .45Colt, am loving the Army grip, It fits my XXL paw really well. Also, found an old friend, who had been traded was back at the LGS, a Sig P220 in .45 ACP, an older West German one. So they are both back home now.

M2, Where did you get your cool Marvin the Martian sign? My son is also a Marvin though he's an earthling, afaik, I've given him numerous Marvin the Martian items over the years. I just looked around the intranet without seeing a sign like that. Inquiring minds want to know. I also would like a broader shot of your lair, looks interesting.  Ed
