To: Brig Gen Pitspitr, Commander Grand Army of the Frontier
CC: Command Staff. Ladies and Gents at large.

Sir,

On the above date 10 troops from northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin engaged an unknown force at approximately 0900.  We were purposely in the field to recapture our camp and The Gun.  During a recon our scouts discovered the location of The Gun and 2 loosely guarded buffalo.  We attacked and secured the buffalo while sending the guards to the nether region. During the fray The Gun was secured and used to further reduce the ranks of our enemy. As the enemy fell back into our camp, our forces surrounded and retook what was ours.  After the smoke cleared, ammo was checked and it was ordered that all demonstrate proficiency of rifle and pistol at precision targets.
Before we took the field, 2 volunteers were sworn in and added to the rolls of the Division.  The 2 new privates are, Mrs Hoppy and Duckie.  Col Tagalon will be informed of the new troops info.
The top 3 in each class will be recognized.

This match was a pleasure to shoot. Thank you for all the work you put into making it happen. My wife was particularly impressed with the welcoming spirit and how encouraging everyone was. she had not planned on shooting the match but she felt so safe and welcome that she did and she had a blans. Now I need to buy her more guns (oh darn!)

By the way she took third place in Precision rifle--outshooting both Charles (Moose) and myself. This a is a fact she has not failed to mention more than a few times. I was so proud of her.

Outstanding!
Thank you to all who helped put this muster on, but especially to Col. Long.  Also thank you to the participants for attending. I would have loved to have been there, but I couldn't make it work this year.

Col. Strong, You'll have to bring your better half to Nebraska sometime. The Grand Muster has grown quite a bit since you were last able to attend. We had 4 Ladies shoot this year and I know they would make Mrs. Hoppy feel right at home.

Again, Congratulations to all!
I remain, Your Ob'd Servant,
