Anybody been there lately?  'Cause there's at least one rifle in there right now I'd grab if I didn't already have one on order . . .

Nope. But I did line up a couple of buddy?s to make a deal between them. One had a special order Shiloh with MVA sights that he didn?t need and sold it for $ 2000 to the other. Would of cost over 3 grand to get in a couple of years.

If there's one of those you want, I'm pretty sure you can call them and have them apply any credit you've already paid on your order and get the rifle shipped.

If you wanted one of those opened up to a longer 45 case , you could probably have the rifle in a couple of weeks.
If you wanted one of those in a different caliber, then it would likely be around 4 months for the rebarrel.

Made the mistake of visiting the gun room 8 years ago. They had one that had everything I would have custom ordered. Saw it online on a Thursday morning, called to be sure it was still available and told them to put a "SOLD" tag on it and asked what I needed to do to make the deal happen. Had my FFL friend fax his FFL doc to them on Friday and gave them my CC number. Had the rifle in my hands on Wednesday!!! Easy-peasy . . .

My first Shiloh took 4 years, 10 months and 20 days from order to reception. #2 was 7 days . . .

Nah, I've got a Pack hardened .50-70 on order, but a Montana Rough Rider in .45-70 would be dang nice someday.

If you want one in 4 months, you can call Bill Goodman in Bozeman.  He gets 4 per month.

Drydock, like you I had always wanted a Montana Roughrider. I found this one a few years back as new and is still in excellent condition. It has a standard weight half round half octagon barrel and makes it light enough for hunting as well as targets. It is one of my favorite rifles.
