Speaking of weather  ::)  here we go again Tropical Storm Dorian ( soon to Hurricane Dorian ) presently has Florida in its sights .
Hopefully it will stay off shore or if it does hit the coast will be diminished to a TS or rain event .

Cant take a chance though, stocking up on Bottled water , and other a sundries.
Not milk, bread and eggs for French toast?  ;D

I'll overnight ship a kite to you, if you need one.

Currently 62 in Billings. That fire jumped to 2000 acres, with homes threatened. 0% containment. It's still on the outskirts of town, so I'm not in any danger here yet. But I poured some extra gas in the cars, and have important documents stacked and ready to grab should the need arise.

something to consider...A Hurricane is a tropical cyclone ....WE at least get several days to prepare ( some don't but that is on them, can fix stupid )

a Tornado is also a cyclone , and maybe only minutes to duck & seek cover .....

regardless in either case someone is going to lose a mobile home !

2.6 miles wide is the record width for a tornado though.

The big one south of us is 2004 was 2.5 miles wide and was on the ground 90 some minutes and traveled 55 miles
