... Now if we can just find the consecutive pair where one is the old style frame and one is the cross pin so we know just how many of these bloody things they made, somewhere in 1972.

And I occasionally buy a lottery ticket.  I wonder which one of us will luck out first?

Abilene, with so few of the 300+ old style frames that were made actually being accounted for, less than 10, maybe, I'd say you have the better odds. I also buy the occasional ticket, just in case mind you, just in case.
