There isn't a place specifically for Single Shots, so I will post this here:

The Livingston gun  show is this weekend, I went early Friday with a couple friends and when I got there, I was told about a Winchester low wall that was stamped "W.F. Sheard, Livingston, Montana." I looked at it and it is an original half round half octagon in 22 Long. Not many of those around and the bore is shiney, so I bought it. Gophers are only a month away from seeing the wrong end of the Winchester...

I never considered myself a failure...I started out at the bottom and happen to like it here!

Very cool! Longs can be hard to find, will it chamber Long Rifles? Or you could just use shorts.

Once again, thanks for letting us see one of your cool guns, Shrapnel!

I have a bunch of 22 long, I also have a Winchester 1873 in 22 long. I have several other Sheard marked guns as well in Winchester 1876 45-75, 1886 Winchester 1886 40-65 and a Marlin 1889 in 44-40...

Nice couch. Well, OK, the Sheard marked rifles are nice too. That '76 is stunning...

I took that gun to Alaska and my son shot a bear with it...
