Haven't seen sunshine all week here, 30's or (very) low 40's all week. Chances of sn*w tomorrow.

Had off today, exchange for a Saturday I worked a few weeks ago.

Had a funeral to go to, I didn't really know him, but I used to ride with his parents, before they gave up motorcycles due to a deer accident, and his fiancé is a good friend of my wife. Only 37, died in his sleep.

Kenya AA .....my new favorite

Colombian or Cuban roast ... trails a bit in 2nd.   Great in pinch though !

Told  ya.  Try Guatimalian sometime.  My second favorite.

Try Celebes some time, island in the East Indies.  Decent flavor not my favorite for taste. Will have you climbing walls if you drink too much.  Kindalike a liquid West Coast turn around. :o

QuoteGoing snowshoeing in Yellowstone tomorrow. That should be interesting, at least.
On my annual trips to Sturgis, SD I would either end up in Yellowstone NP or Glacier NP. Sometimes I'd drive from Billings, Montana to Yellowstone NP thru Red Lodge via the Beartooth Highway. Sometimes I would drive from Cody, Wyoming to Yellowstone NP via the Chief Joseph Highway. Both were awesome rides.

When going thru Cody, I would always visit the Buffalo Bill Museum:

You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself

Del..... use to work with a guy from Peru , every Christmas to New Year he'd go home , when he returned he'd bring a pound of Peruvian Mountain Grown.... Darkest blackest grind I've ever seen ... and very tasty.

I like dark strong coffee ....stuff like the store box brands , Maxwell House , Folgers , or most restaurants servings not so much and usually pass up.

I do like Dunkin Donut coffee though

Just about the time the daffodils poke thru the mud, it freezes here.

All frozen here, 13, high of 28, but the sun's shining for the first time in a week. Of course, this is the time that the wife's Trailblazer decided to melt down ANOTHER heater motor resistor. I think it's up to 5 since I bought it. Seems to be the only flaw in this car.

Warming up the dirtball, AKA the mail route car to go to Church.

Had coupla Dodge's the would do that.... in my case it was the AC/Heat control. among other crap issues. I:E: Valve Lifters & Brakes
After the 2nd one, on my second Dodge, along with various  dealer's  stealer's shenanigan's , impropriety and down right dishonesty...
I swore off any Chrysler product.... except I did stray for a JEEP Wrangler ( when Mercedes controled them )
.... once that one was out of my possession ....I'm done with Chrysler Products for good !

Blustrey day, with low tomorrow morning in upper 30's guessers say.

Added to my humble WW1 - WW2 helmet colection with this "Heer"  M40 Stahlhelm   * Heer ( German Army )

Kinda uncanny how I started the collection  :-\

I happen into my FFL some time back,  and he had a 1893 Berthier Artillery Carbine some guy needed to sell...it followed, I found an Adrian Helmet...
I Got the Model 1917 Eddystone and the Brodie & a M17 Stahlhelm
I was given the Luftschutz, so it seemed right to expand to WW2 -  US M1,  Soviet M39 & Heer M40 followed.
That go well with the Surrendered Beretta side arm

Helmets all hang in reloading room.
Just when I figure I'm done, another turns up

Speaking of work, di-construction has begun on the homestead re-model
Guest bath is under way... complete make-over.

*Front of house Entry door way will be a complete change out to a Craftsman design with glass.
*Kitchen will have new appliances , Sink & accessories .
*Fresh paint & color change in my Den & carpet
*rear French door to the porch & pool will be freshly painted....

Expect it to get real & pricey, though we have contracted budgeted well.....
however, trips to the TOY store , sharply curtailed  :(
