We will have the pleasure of meeting Mini Drydock, EXCELLENT!  Now we need the General to strongarm his offspring.

Well, I guess if my chief of staff is bringing his dog robber I'll have to bring mine as well

Excellent news General!  Our last cowboy shoot this Sunday may start with a little snow on the ground and low 30 degree temps. A fire might feel pretty good. What sort of weather will mother nature bless us with on the 19th? I may switch from pulled pork and cowboy beans to chili.

What range is the precision rifle and pistol stuff shot at?  It would be nice to sight in previous to the Muster.

Ned, the precision pistol will be 5 shots at 25 yards on official target. It will be incorporated into a skirmish. Precision rifle will be 15 shots at 100 yards using appropriate targets to mimic 100 200 and 300 yards.

Are the rifle target armor steel?  Also, will 100 rounds of rifle ammo cover everything?

We will have the pleasure of meeting Mini Drydock,
Donnie is rather larger than I, FYI.

The targets are AR 500 steel. 100 rounds of rifle ammo should be plenty unless you miss a whole lot, which you never do

Jack,
What's the round count for Scout class?

John I counted 47 targets when I was at the range today, not saying all of them will be used.  A fine rifle shot such as yourself should not need a whole lot of extra skirmish ammo. You will need 15 rounds for precision rifle.

Jack, that was a fun Muster, even if a couple of us DID get lost getting there!  Perfect weather and good people to shoot with.........hard to beat that!

It was just the right combination of target difficulty and movement within each stage. Well thought out and downright fun!
The noontime supper was excellent, too.

Thank you Jack and Mike, and Miss Theresa, for your joint efforts.
