Not sure if these are somewhere here in the archives, but a Danish friend discovered he had this manual in his library:



With this drawing of the .56-56 Spencer cartridge as manufactured in 1864 and 1865  for Model 1860 Spencers.

Most of these 'Ordnance Memoranda' pamphlets have been reprinted heavily - starting in the late 1960's.

They're pretty interesting, all in all.
