We are back.  Seems to work good.  Raise the wagon tongue and hang the lantern and pilot the rest in.

Last gig for the season tomorrow.  Living History day in Table Rock Nebraska.  Biscuits by dutch oven for 300 some 4th graders.  Will spend the day with Mustang Greg.

Wife wanted chopped steak for supper, they were $5.59 a pound, a bit high, had Net York strip for $5.99 a pound, told her she could whack it with my meat hammer if she wanted.  She passed.   ;D

She put some stuff on hers, did hers medium rare, salt,  pepper and butter on mine , about halfway between medium and medium well.

Baked tater to go with, a little under a pound each and she chose the smaller one.

Yaaayyy! We're back "on the air" Been a nice dry week here, but no more-the remnants of some tropical storm are scheduled to dump on us for the next several days. Nothing gun related to report for the last week, except the demise of one mister Groundhog. Been after him since last fall. Didn't have to go all Chevy Chase on him with C-4(or 4tRod with 4F) Just a shot with the not so trusty "jam-o-matic" fish gun. Second shot was not required, fortunately, since it jammed after the first shot. >:(

Greetings My Good Netizens!

Coffee is up.

Nope.  Couldn't get across town because of the traffic.  I know someone who went, and they said the line was almost half a mile long.  Got to watch AF1 land, and then watched the motorcade.  So that was neat.  Always a weird feeling being on the wrong end if that many guns, though. They had a sniper team on top of the ATC tower.  I waved.

School is going well.  Homework isn't too heavy right now.  Have some exams next week.

I'm home, day got cut off right after lunch, rain heavy at times, we kept baking biscuits till no one wanted to watch.

Ran heater on the way home. 60F and I got so wet my underwear was soaked. Got a bit of a chill, thinking coffee.

Of course. Had a couple cups.  Mustang Greg,  my 3rd cuzzin once removed and I had a great time and so did the kids even if we were all soaked.

I swear my palm leaf weighs 5 pounds. ;D

Thank ya, Slim...

Farmers market cancelled today... got word when i was cleaning last of the eggs to go.   Picked a fig for my breakfast. Only a few left if birds and squirrels don't beat me to them. Guess i will find something else to do.

Afternoon all.

90 and sunny in Billings today.  We have a light breeze from the West and some clouds building to the South they say will be giving us some water tonight.

I was supposed to fly today, but all the airplanes are down for unexpected maintenance.  Mine has a crack in the propellor, which is really not a good thing.  So instead, I think I might go to Cabela's and get a sandwich, then go down to the river and watch the water.

Go catch some trout's and you won't need a samwhich. ;D

Someone explain it to me. They tell tell me that we are not to be bullies.

Yet the TV in my living room has a bunch of guys knocking each other down and taking a funny shaped ball away from each other and people are cheering them on?

I am confused and should just go down and hide in the basement.
