They can't, but the liberals think that the voting population is so stupid that they will fall for anything that they read on social media, Now while that might be true of the liberals, I doubt that conservatives are that naive or easily fooled.

We had a gulley-washer 'round 3:30 PM with pea sized hail.

When you get there ask where the food is, and ask to go to toilet every five minutes. They will send you home.
Defendants and inmates get fed and bathroom breaks- they have more liberties than jurors do.

Been called the last two years for US District Court, particularity intrusive because your on call for (2) Two WEEKS !
Longer if'n you land a case ...

I managed to excuse myself but times because I traveled in my Job ( Show Biz ) , but now I'm exempt due my reaching 7 decades....
However I'm apparently still fair game still for Civil Courts...
Here in Fla. that's just one day call unless you get seated , still intrusive and a major PITA.

I've been seated twice in the past couple of years as a juror.  One was a felony charge (violent crime against elderly) and the other contested the fault of a traffic accident (commercial driver that would loose job if at fault).  It was very interesting....no forensic data and slam dunk eye-witness testimony like on TV.  Both cases were interesting, and were "he said, she said"...plaintiff's word vs. the defendant's word.  It was who/what do you believe, and is there reasonable doubt.   Being a parent of three children really helped me as a juror!

Afternoon all.

100 here again.  This makes something like 3 weeks  straight now that we've been above 100, with just one or two outliers in the high nineties.

I spent a couple hours last night with a friend on a road closure.  It was enthralling.  In the time I was there, we saw a grand total of 1other person, a cop who we let breeze through.

Later this afternoon I'm going to go meet a friend from high school for a sack lunch and let our dogs play in the creek.
