Not really steampunk. I'd call it "retro-reality"!

These pieces are neat.

Check out the sci fi Mutant Chronicles. Steam powered rifles, cannons and my favorite was the steam powered aircraft. I enjoyed the movie.

Primarily posted for Professor Marvel's amusement, but I'll be the Devil's Advocate for anyone who'd be motivated enough to cobble up their own interpretations.

Thank you My Good Story -
The Krutsch is the epitome of a steamy rifle!
BUT i fear the Curtis falls short, looking more like a tube-and wire prototype of a toy squirtgun :-(

Good example!  Trench warfare with steam-powered projectile weapons, poison gas, alien possession, and swords. . . gotta love it!
In my book a pioneer is a man who turned all the grass upside down, strung bob-wire over the dust that was left, poisoned the water, cut down the trees, killed the Indian who owned the land and called it progress.  Charles M. Russell

New Steam Punk movie coming out.   "Mortal Engines."   Trailers look just wacky enough to be good.

Googling sure beats playing solitaire 'til dawn..!  Found more steampunk reality; Boer war "road train" and WW I US steam tank.

That would get the person carrying it arrested in Kanuckistan where the rcmp now warms people not to be on the street with air guns, BB guns or replicas which are now classified as "firearms".

Thanks Sir Charles  :)

PJ.... I can sympathize,  but not entirely   :(  as I'm a citizen , not a subject , still as a citizen we must remain ever diligent,

here below the Medicine line ,  by the vote and the grace of God, we still have our 2nd Amendment.

PJ Hardtack

The 2nd Amendment is all that is saving you.

Our government denies it, but even we "subjects" of the Crown have the same rights you do, granted under the Magna Carta and outlined in Blackstones's Commentaries on the Common Law of England.

These inalienable rights came across the Atlantic with the people who populated Canada just as surely as they did with the American pioneers. As it says at the Blaine, Washington border crossing arch - "Children of a Common Mother".

That can be interpreted to mean that "Mom" was a common woman and slept around, hence we have different national "fathers".  :-[

But what we share today are people in high places that are "globalist" in their world view rather than "nationalist". You are lucky to have Trump who puts America first.

Our national leader has stated that Canada is the world's first "post national state" with no history or core values worth preserving. That should have caused riots in the streets and a storming of the Bastille on Parliament Hill, but the true characteristics of Canadians are acquiescence and compliance through long years of social engineering.

Ah Yes.  A Narcissist, Sociopath, Megalomaniac, Bigoted Fraud whom wouldn't know truth if it fell on him from 40 Stories.  We should be so lucky.

Please .... Oh Please ..... SAVE US FROM OUR LUCK   :o

Afraid I voted against her not for him. Poor pickins in 2016.

Gentlepersons-
instead of politics, let us wish each other "happy holidays" and return to the steampunkish topic :-)

since i have a quantity of parts, i have slowly begun a remington project inspired by Tinker.

i never understood "why" the remmington has that long nose on the frame, so I took a beater frame and cut it off
and re-shaped the front of the frame a tish. Since I plan for this to be a snubby with a barrel of perhaps 3" or less,
I am pondering the possibility of filling in the rammer hole as well. I am also planning on making this one a little
"steamy" so any ideas you may offer are welcome.

photos will follow, hopefully, after I get done running around.....

Yay Prof,
We need pics, I work better visually.   I am thinking at the very least, a gear inlay in the grip.  Possibly make it part of a airship captain's gear.

Coffinmaker

Ooooooooooo !!!  We likes Air Ships we do.  Bit of swell kit that Remington could be.  Even tho I daren't like Remingtons.

Jack Straw

After being involved in CAS since around 1989 and having been really into good looking duds I've finally gotten to the point that I don't care what folks wear to the matches.  Steam Punk?  OK,  B Western,  Sure.  Anything is fine.  I just wish I could ditch all that and wear my normal jeans, Redwing chukkas, work shirt, and ball cap.

Hasn't the costuming issue has gotten sorta tiresome?
